PROJECT NEWS
2/24/2026
Dear EQ Cultivate Community,
We are happy to share the final updates from the EQCultivate project as we reach the closing stage of our journey together. Over the past months, we have continued working closely with young professionals, youth workers, and stakeholders across Europe to bring emotional intelligence, mental wellbeing, and burnout prevention into the realities of remote and hybrid work. What began with research and discussions has now developed into practical learning experiences and shared tools that participants can use in their everyday working environments. Since our last newsletter, several important project activities have been successfully completed.

On January 28th, we held the European online conference dedicated to emotional intelligence and wellbeing in hybrid work. Participants from different countries joined the event to exchange experiences and reflect on how remote work has influenced communication, stress levels, collaboration, and personal balance. The conference created an open space for learning and showed how relevant emotional intelligence skills have become for both professional and personal life. Have a look at recording here.

Dissemination events
As the EQCultivate project comes to an end, its results will continue to remain available through the project website. The reports, training materials, and micro readings developed during the project are designed to support ongoing learning and can be used by youth workers, organizations, and young professionals interested in strengthening emotional intelligence and resilience in hybrid and remote workspaces.
Throughout this project, we have seen how small changes in awareness, communication, and boundary-setting can make a meaningful difference in both working environments and everyday life. We hope the resources created within EQCultivate will continue to support individuals and communities in building healthier, more balanced approaches to work in the digital age. Thank you for following the EQCultivate journey and for being part of this shared learning experience.
With warm wishes,
EQCultivate Team
WHAT'S NEXT?
All online and face-to-face workshops planned within the project have now taken place in Latvia, Spain, and Cyprus. During these workshops, participants explored the EQCultivate learning materials through practical exercises, group discussions, and real-life examples from their own work contexts. Many participants shared that the sessions helped them better recognize signs of stress and burnout, communicate their needs more clearly, and approach digital work with greater awareness and structure.
The feedback received was very positive. Young professionals highlighted that the tools supported them not only in managing workload and remote collaboration, but also in developing healthier routines and a more balanced relationship with work. Youth workers and stakeholders emphasized that the materials are practical and easy to apply when supporting others facing similar challenges. For many participants, the project connected professional development with a broader life perspective focused on resilience, self-awareness, self care and sustainable ways of working. In addition, all final dissemination events have been completed across partner countries. These events allowed the project results to reach wider audiences and created opportunities to share experiences with local communities, young workers, organizations, and practitioners. Discussions confirmed that challenges connected to hybrid work environments are widely shared, and that emotional intelligence remains a key factor in supporting wellbeing and flexibility in changing work conditions.
