PROJECT NEWS

12/23/2025

Dear EQCultivate Community,

We’re excited to share the latest updates from EQCultivate project! The project is coming closer to the end, and we have achieved a lot of wonderful results for mental resilience and prevention of burnout in remote work. In this newsletter we want to share a summary of what has been going on. You’ll find news about our newly published curriculum, highlights from the partner meeting in Latvia, fresh microreadings, and other project developments.

But before everything else we want to invite you to book a slot in your calendar for an online conference that will be held at the end of January. You will hear more about the speakers and other details very soon!

On May 16, 2025, EQ CULTIVATE partners met in Riga for their second in-person meeting to review progress, plan upcoming activities, and ensure the project remains practical and relevant for youth workers. The meeting focused on collaboration, dissemination, and impact, setting the stage for developing learning module content, pilot trainings in early autumn 2025, and a future international online event bringing together all partner countries.

Translations of training needs report

During last months we have been working on translations of the EQ CULTIVATE report “Analysis about Training Needs of Youth in Remote Work”, they are now published on our website. This makes the resource more accessible to diverse audiences and supports youth workers across partner countries in addressing real training needs.

Training materials about EQ for resilience in remote work

In the following months we will work on the outreach more. All the meaningful project results have to reach you and others who would benefit from mindful practices and cultivating emotional intelligence to improve resilience and flexibility in the face of adversity.

Here is our list of activities, and what you will hear about more in our final report:

- We have started online and residential workshops where we train young people and stakeholders on the materials we have produced.

- On January 28th we will hold a European online conference - international workshop about emotional intelligence in hybrid work. Welcome to join us!

- Partner organizations of this project will organize dissemination events in Spain, Latvia and Cyprus to share all the good practices and experiences with the local communities.

With warm wishes for merry holiday season,
EQCultivate team

WHAT'S NEXT?

One of the more meaningful results in this project is a rich composition of learning materials - our curriculum on "Emotional Intelligence for Hybrid Workspaces". It is now published and available to support youth workers in strengthening emotional intelligence, wellbeing, and inclusion in remote and hybrid work contexts. To make it accessible across partner countries, the curriculum has also been translated into Latvian, Spanish, and Greek, helping it reach and support an even wider audience.

Microreadings - short bits of information for social media!

To customize the broad and rich information we have gathered and created to an easier learning, we have applied concept of microlearning to our outcomes and in the following months will publish a few infographics that we call microreadings.

Currently two of those are available:
Burn Out and Hybrid Work (see here)
Inclusive Work Culture (see here)

Follow social media of KOGUI HUB, Flourish NGO or The Serendipitous Black Cloud to see when new ones come out!
